Token Safety Check

Paste a contract address or pick a coin — CoinVett shows the security signals GoPlus reports for that token: honeypot behaviour, buy and sell taxes, mint permissions, proxy patterns and holder concentration. Each signal comes with a plain-language explanation of what it means.

What the check verifies

The check reads the on-chain contract data that GoPlus Security collects for Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain tokens. It looks at how the contract behaves in a simulated trade, which permissions the owner kept after deployment, and how the token supply is distributed across addresses. For coins CoinVett already tracks, the result comes from our regularly refreshed database; unknown contracts are scanned on demand and cached for a day.

Which signals are covered

Three groups: contract security (verified source code, proxy pattern, mint function), trading security (honeypot simulation, buy tax, sell tax) and ownership (holder count, share of the top ten addresses, locked share of DEX liquidity). A warning marker means the data shows a pattern worth reading up on before you go further — the explanation next to each signal tells you exactly what the pattern is and why it matters. Signals the data source did not report are marked as unknown instead of being guessed.

Limits of the check

A contract scan reads code and on-chain state — it cannot see team intentions, off-chain agreements or future contract upgrades. A clean result is not a safety guarantee, and a warning is not proof of fraud. Direct address scans cover ETH and BSC tokens; for coins already in our database, results may also include Polygon and Arbitrum contracts. Native coins such as BTC have no token contract to scan. Treat the result as one input for your own research, not as a final answer.

No contract address is on file for SpaceX (Backpack Securities) (SPCX), so there is nothing to scan.

For information only

This check summarizes technical contract signals from GoPlus Security. It is not financial, investment or tax advice, and no statement about future performance. Crypto assets are highly volatile; a total loss is possible. Always do your own research.
