Terms of Service

These terms of service govern the use of the CoinVett information service ("CoinVett" or the "Service"). The Operator is the person named in the imprint.

Last updated: September 27, 2026

1. Scope and contracting party

These terms apply to the use of coinvett.com and all related content and features. The contracting party is the Operator as named in the imprint (the "Operator"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

CoinVett is an information-only service focused on crypto assets. The Service provides market data, editorial content, AI-assisted analysis, market reports such as weekly recaps, a Fear & Greed index, comparison and forecast pages, a token safety check, free calculators, a crypto profile finder and optional personal tracking features: portfolio tracking, watchlists, price and analysis notifications by email or Telegram, and a newsletter. Forecast pages show model-based scenarios derived from current market, analysis and security data; for coins that CoinVett classifies as stablecoins or tokenized assets (labeled accordingly on the respective page), no model outlook is published. CoinVett does not execute transactions and does not hold crypto assets in custody.

Core features may be used without registration. Personalized features may require a free user account. Any conflicting terms of the user apply only if the Operator expressly agrees to them in writing.

2. Disclaimer of liability

CoinVett prepares its content with due care, but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or constant availability of any displayed data. Price, market and project data may come from public sources and third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. The same applies to AI-assisted analysis and model-based scenarios; see Section 6 for details.

The Operator is liable without limitation only in cases of intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence involving essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

The Operator is not liable for interruptions, maintenance windows, failures of data providers or force majeure events. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

3. No financial advice (Sections 85/86 WpHG)

All content published on CoinVett is provided for general information and education only. It does not constitute investment advice, investment brokerage or any recommendation tailored to your personal investment goals, financial situation or risk tolerance.

Analyses, reports, ratings and commentary on CoinVett are not financial analysis within the meaning of Section 85 WpHG and not an investment recommendation within the meaning of Section 86 WpHG. Nothing on CoinVett should be understood as an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold a specific crypto asset or financial instrument.

You make investment decisions at your own responsibility. Before making an investment decision, you should seek independent, qualified advice. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

4. Not a crypto-asset service provider (MiCAR)

CoinVett is not a crypto-asset service provider under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCAR) and does not provide licensed crypto-asset services. In particular, CoinVett does not provide custody, operate a trading platform, exchange crypto assets, execute or transmit orders, or provide crypto-asset advice or portfolio management.

The portfolio tracking feature available on CoinVett is purely informational and read-only. It is based on positions entered by users themselves. CoinVett does not connect wallets, manage private keys or trigger transactions.

CoinVett also does not make public offers of crypto assets and does not seek admission to trading through the Service. Accordingly, CoinVett does not publish a crypto-asset white paper under Article 5 MiCAR.

5. Crypto asset risk notice

Crypto assets are highly speculative. Their value can fluctuate sharply and a total loss of the capital invested is possible at any time. You should only invest amounts whose loss you can economically bear.

Additional risks include low market liquidity, market manipulation, technical failures in protocols or smart contracts, failures of trading venues or custodians and sudden regulatory changes. Crypto assets are generally not protected by deposit guarantee schemes known from traditional banking products.

Tax treatment of crypto assets remains your own responsibility. CoinVett does not provide tax advice.

6. AI-generated content (Article 50 EU AI Act)

Some content shown on CoinVett is created or materially supported by generative AI systems. This includes, in particular, coin analyses and coin reports, coin description texts, market reports such as weekly recaps, blog posts, the portfolio review, the crypto profile finder results and translations of this content. CoinVett uses language models from external providers, currently OpenAI and Anthropic.

AI-generated content is labeled as such where Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act) requires it; editorially created or editorially revised content may appear without a separate notice. In any case, factual errors, outdated information, compression of nuance or so-called hallucinations may occur.

AI content does not replace professional advice. Please review such content critically and compare it with independent sources before making decisions.

7. Registration and account

Core features may be used without registration. Personalized features such as portfolio tracking, watchlists, notifications or the portfolio review may require a free user account. You sign in with your email address and a password or through the third-party logins offered (currently Google, Apple and GitHub); the respective provider's terms also apply to third-party logins. Optionally, you can add two-factor authentication to your password sign-in and link a Telegram account for notifications. There is no entitlement to registration.

When registering, you must provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information. Each natural person may create only one account. Access credentials must be kept confidential and protected against third-party access.

Sharing accounts, commercial use without express permission and automated queries or scraping are prohibited. If you suspect misuse of your account, you must inform the Operator without undue delay.

8. Termination and suspension

You may terminate your user account at any time. Once termination becomes effective, account data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the privacy policy unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The Operator may terminate user accounts with reasonable notice or suspend them immediately for good cause. Good cause exists in particular in cases of false registration data, duplicate accounts, automated extraction of content, circumvention of technical safeguards or other abusive conduct.

The Operator's digital house rights and users' mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. External links and third-party content

CoinVett may contain links to third-party websites and services, such as project websites, block explorers or news sources cited in articles. These links are provided solely for orientation and easier access to further information.

The Operator has no control over the content, availability or data processing of external offers. The respective provider is always responsible for linked content; the Operator does not adopt that content as its own.

If specific legal violations become known, the relevant links will be removed. Embedded third-party content and third-party data, such as the interactive TradingView price chart, market and price data from CoinGecko, token security data from GoPlus Security and the Fear & Greed index from alternative.me, are also subject to the respective provider's own terms.

10. Affiliate and advertising transparency

At the time these terms are published, CoinVett does not include affiliate links, paid placements or traditional advertisements. The Service is currently not financed through commissions or paid endorsements from third parties.

If affiliate links, sponsorships or paid content are introduced in the future, they will be clearly labeled as advertising or sponsored content. Editorial content will remain independent, and any material conflicts of interest will be disclosed.

11. User input and user-generated content

CoinVett does not offer public community features such as comments, forums or chats. Data you enter, such as portfolio holdings, watchlist entries and alert thresholds in your user account, answers in the crypto profile finder or token addresses submitted for checking, is not published by CoinVett and is processed only for the feature you requested.

You are responsible for ensuring that your input does not infringe third-party rights and does not contain unlawful content. You grant the Operator the rights necessary to process your input within the Service, for example to calculate portfolio values, send notifications or run AI-assisted analysis. Unlawful or abusive input may be removed.

If public community features are introduced in the future, additional community rules and moderation standards will apply, in particular regarding unlawful content, notice and complaint mechanisms and transparency duties under the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, DSA).

12. Protection of minors

CoinVett is intended exclusively for adults. Registration of a user account requires that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable under the law applicable to you.

If the Operator becomes aware of specific indications that an account is being used by a minor, the account may be suspended and deleted. Parents or guardians may contact the Operator at any time if they have relevant concerns.

13. Intellectual property

All content of the Service, in particular trademarks, logos, design, texts, graphics, layouts, editorial contributions, analyses and software components, is protected by copyright, trademark or related rights and belongs to the Operator or the respective rights holders.

Users receive only a simple, non-transferable right to access the content for their own non-commercial use within the intended scope of the Service. Any further use requires prior written consent.

Automated extraction, copying or republication of content, especially by scraping or contrary to an expressly declared reservation under Section 44b(3) UrhG, is prohibited.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise. If you use the Service as a consumer with habitual residence in another EU member state, mandatory consumer protection rules of that state remain expressly unaffected (Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation).

Statutory rules on places of jurisdiction remain unaffected.

15. Consumer dispute resolution (Section 36 VSBG)

In accordance with Section 36 VSBG, the Operator states that it is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Your right to bring claims before the competent courts remains unaffected.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is or becomes wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The statutory rule replaces the invalid provision; with consumers, Section 306 BGB and other mandatory rules on standard terms remain unaffected.

17. Contact

For all questions regarding these terms, the contractual relationship connected with use of the Service, or data protection, please use the contact details provided in the legal notice.

The fastest channel is usually the email address listed there.

Please note that no individual legal advice is provided by email.

18. Changes to these terms

The Operator may amend these terms for the future where this is necessary for legal, technical or functional reasons. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect, for example by notice on the website and, for registered users, additionally by email.

If you do not agree to the changes, you have an extraordinary right to terminate: you may cancel and delete your user account at any time without notice period. If you continue using the Service after the changes take effect, we will assume your consent; we will highlight this consequence in the advance announcement. Minor, purely beneficial or purely editorial changes may be made without the above notice period.
